There are many oils that can be VERY helpful when protecting yourself and pup / kids from ticks.
doTERRA’s TerraShield is a GREAT base for all your home-made sprays or rollers. People have often commented that Indy smells like she’s just come from the doggy spa when they smell ths blend on her. A beautiful combination of vanilla, lemongrass, nootka wood, cedarwood, peppermint, and geranium in a base of sesame oil, this VERY inexpensive blend can be applied directly to skin or fur. I like to apply it to Indy’s collar and then give her a spritz or a roller down her spine and armpits where they like to attach.
This blend is safe for kitties, too, as well as your young ones.
